United Semiconductor(Xiamen) Project is located in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone.It is a key project in Fujian Province which belongs to a high-rise steel building. For one single building，the amount of steel used is 29,000 tons and the area of structure is over 180,000 square meters. During the construction,the multi-pieces facade erection for long span truss(70 tons for one cross) is adopted for the first time which makes the erection conducted in narrow space and ensure the precision. There is 8 large crawler cranes, 10 truck cranes and 8 ladder trucks used during the erection phase. More than 140 trusses have been assembled, welded and erected within 60 days. What’s more, the installation and welding work for main structure all have been finished within 6 months without any safety and quality accident.The China's central, provincial and municipal leaders visit the construction site many times to inspect and guide the work. The project won high praise from the leaders.
